Nunavut is a territory in northern Canada, and the majority of its population consists of Inuit people.
Inuktitut is an indigenous language spoken by the Inuit people in Nunavut and other parts of the Canadian Arctic. It has several dialects across the region. English is also an official language and is used in government, education, and other official capacities alongside Inuktitut.
The land area of Nunavut is approximately 2,093,190 square kilometers (808,185 square miles).
To the north of Nunavut lies the Arctic Ocean, which is the smallest and shallowest of the world's five oceans. To the west of Nunavut is Hudson Bay, a large inland sea in northeastern Canada.
